Yvonne van Delft is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in all facets of operational and project/programme management within clinical research and medical education across world-renowned pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organisations.
After obtaining her master’s degree in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry, she worked for several years as a researcher in the lab. She then transitioned her career to the pharmaceutical industry. She has held various positions, ranging from Clinical Research Associate to Global Public Health Medical Affairs Programme Director.
She has primarily worked in international environments, both in developed countries and in resource-limited settings, mainly in Africa, India and Thailand.
Throughout her career, she has built a reputation as a transformational leader who thrives on challenges, overcomes obstacles, and is dedicated to achieving excellence. She has led the development, implementation, and delivery of clinical studies, early access programmes, post-trial access and drug donation programmes, managed publications, advisory boards, investigator-initiated studies, and educational/research grant requests. She has directed numerous medical education activities in resource-limited countries and at global conferences, compiling, tracking, and disseminating metrics accredited with an average NPS score exceeding 65.
