Yvonne van Delft is an accomplished professional with more than 20 years’ experience in all facets of operational and project/programme management within clinical research as well as medical education across world-renowned pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organisations.
After obtaining her master’s degree in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry, she worked several years as a researcher in the lab. Thereafter she made a career switch to the pharmaceutical industry. She held different positions, varying from Clinical Research Associate to Global Public Health Medical Affairs Programme Director.
She mostly worked in an international environment, in the developed world and also gained substantial experience in resource-limited settings, mainly in Africa, India and Thailand..
Throughout her career, she has established a reputation as a transformational leader who is driven by challenge, undeterred by obstacles, and committed to furthering standards of excellence. She headed development, implementation, and delivery of clinical studies, early access programmes, post-trial access and drug donation programmes, management of publications, advisory boards, investigator-initiated studies and educational/research grant requests. She directed multiple medical education activities within resource-limited countries and at global conferences along with compiling, tracking, and disseminating metrics accredited by an average NPS score of over 65.
While many excel in meeting predefined standards, Yvonne’s passion lies in delivering service that goes beyond organizational expectations, creating a win-win scenario for all stakeholders involved!
